Lesson 3: Review Game and Quiz

Time Estimated: 1 day

Objectives:

Students will:

1. Review topics of the last four days.
2. Take a quiz on the information studied.

Materials:

• Quiz 1
• Questions for game

Strategies:

1. Hook: The students will be placed into groups and given five minutes to review their notes.
2. The groups will be asked questions about the different technologies and students will write their answers on a sheet of paper. I will circulate and see if they choose the correct answer. The score will be kept on the board. The team that wins will receive five bonus points on their quiz.
3. The students will take their quiz (Quiz 1). It will be 10 multiple choice questions and a blank map of the United States where they will have to color in the Great Plains.
4. The class will review the answers to the quiz and will discuss any questions that gave them a problem.

Differentiation:

The students will review for the quiz visually in their groups and orally in the review game.
