• Maria Shriver's biography, as written in Current Biography, Volume 52, Number 11, November 1991, page 55, lists her high school as Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford. Connecticut. This is a mistake because Maria Shriver did not attend this school BUT Louise Krasniewicz did!
• "Superwoman is dead and Superman may be taking Viagra," Maria is quoted as saying in a speech at Holy Cross college in May, 1998. She was quick to point out that, "My husband wanted me to be clear that he is Superman and there is no Viagra within a 50-mile radius of our house."
• The husband of journalist Maria Shriver tells Marie Claire magazine that he wears the pants in the family, literally if not figuratively: "I hate pants [on women]," he tells the mag. "This is something I've inherited from my father; he despised pants, and my mother was never allowed to wear them at home. I still feel that way, and neither my mother nor Maria is allowed to go out with me in pants.
