Megan R. Brett

Megan R. Brett is a Digital History Associate in the Public Projects and Strategic Initiatives Divisions at the Roy Rosenszweig Center for History and New Media. She has worked on such projects as the award-winning Histories of the National Mall website, the Papers of the War Department community transcription project, and the summer digital skills institutes for mid-career scholars. She acts as the Outreach Lead for the Omeka family of projects, conducting workshops, social media outreach, and user support, and acting as project manager on the Omeka Everywhere project, which facilitates delivery of Omeka content onto mobile and multitouch devices. She is a doctoral student in the department of History and Art History at George Mason University; her work examines family strategies and the formation of national identity of Americans abroad in the post revolutionary period.
