Citizendium

Following more or less directly on our discussion of last week, check out the new initiative by Larry Sanger (one of the founders of Wikipedia):

The Citizendium (sit-ih-ZEN-dee-um), a “citizens’ compendium of everything,” will be an experimental new wiki project that combines public participation with gentle expert guidance.

    So, i read this article, and it was awesome! I am very excited about this new initiative by the “other guy” from Wikipedia’s founding. I think this more expert-driven encyclopedia would be much more reliable (or at least give the appearance of more reliable!) and attract more “experts” to contribute. I know I would be more attracted to being a contributor there than Wikipedia.
