What Historians Do

The primary goal for historians working in applied fields is to make availble information about the past in a manner that is widely usable. For example, museum currators take historical information and present it in a format that museum visitors can take in during a visit.

New media can assist historians in reaching this goal by providing a medium that is accessible by a large audience.
