My Web Review will look at online syllabi for history and history-related courses. This will not be an overall pedogical review of the course as represented in the syllabus, but rather a review of their use of the Internet in presenting their material. I will use several syllabi from History Matters-Syllabus Central, including one for Early United States History - History 172 from California State University at Long Beach and it will also include one syllabus from the CHNM syllabus finder, from a Hampshire College course, Traveling Identities: Immigrants, Exiles and Sojourners in Film, Literature and Culture. As I have often used the Web to post my own online syllabi, I am hoping to learn a bit about how to more effectively create an online syllabus.
