Web Review Essays

I have posted comments on the review essay proposals that were posted as of this AM on the blog. There are some great ideas for essays there and I would encourage members of the class to take a look and offer any additional comments. You can see all of them listed at http://chnm.gmu.edu/courses/rr/f04/cw/blog/archives/cat_review_essay_proposal.html

I'm happy to discuss your projects further with you via email, over the phone, or in person. If you want to respond to my comments on the blog, you are probably safer doing it via email (so that I will know about the comment). But if you post it on the blog, just send me an email to take a look there.

Someone asked about the location of the Cronon reading. It is available on JSTOR. The URL is http://links.jstor.org/sici?sici=0021-8723%28199203%2978%3A4%3C1347%3AAPFSNH%3E2.0.CO%3B2-H But if you are working from off campus, you need to start with the GMU library database list (http://ers2000.gmu.edu/sql/alpha.php?J) and then click for off-campus access.

Remember that I cut down the reading for next week. The updated assignment is at http://chnm.gmu.edu/courses/rr/f04/cw/syll.html#w4

Have a good weekend.
