WW II Website review proposal

I propose to do a web review proposal that tackles World War II on the web. I want to first compare a basic difference in how many web pages are possibly out there on WW II in Western Europe as opposed to the seemingly less covered Pacific campaign as well as the Eastern front in Europe.
I want to cover what audiences these sites are attempting to reach, and what, if any, political and ideological viewpoint is behind them.
I also want to discuss what kind of aspects of "new media" such as images and other aspects of multimedia they use or if many sites are arranged as web sites that seem to have evolved out of academic papers.
I also want to compare sites by recognized historical associations of WW II, and recognized historians that have a presence on the WWW, and see how they present the war and their sites in terms of both content and asthetics, as well as use of "new media", as opposed to "amateur" historians who are simply history buffs using the web to create pages based on their "hobby."
