I propose for my final project to discuss creation of a website on the Westmoreland vs. CBS libel trial, which was the subject of my Masters research seminar paper. (My paper was published by the Ehistory Bulletin.) There are no websites that I know of devoted strictly to the trial other than some essays posted on the web, including my own, which are not Internet friendly. However, there are a number of sites on the Vietnam War that I can review, focusing on the Tet offensive, and a few on the so-called order of battle dispute concerning the number of enemy troops the United States was facing in Vietnam before Tet. This dispute was at the heart of the Westmoreland vs. CBS lawsuit.
