Just briefly, some of these sites used technology nicely, but many of them really blew it....
The Deerfield site seemed to present well to a non-professional audience and also appeared to use the technology carefully and no go to far with it.
The Devices of Wonder exhibit did challenge the envelope technologically, but seemed to take a bit too much efort on the visitors part to extract information that did not really fulfil.
I thought the Deerfield site challenged standard interpretation and did a good job in challenging visitors to see the past from several new viewpoints.
Julia Child's Kitchen turned me off right away with the speed of the 360 pan around the kitchen and no immediately obvious way to slow it down. Too dizzy!
