Reports

Some faculty teaching History 100 assign brief reports on the video lectures. One such professor advises her students to consider the following when working on these reports:

  • The length of the report must not be shorter than 2 and not longer than 3 printed double spaced pages.
  • The report has to be a summary of the basic content and conclusions of the lecture.
  • She asks that you respond to these two questions:
    • Which are according to you the main conclusions made by the professor?
    • What is the information that you found particularly interesting or appealing?
  • Reports such as this also may be helpful in classes where the student is asked to do a report based on an article, video, or book.
