About the Authors


Between 1870 and 1920 many writers appeared in dime novels meant for women. Some wrote specifically for dime novel and cheap fiction publication. Others were popular writers of the day whose work was reprinted in dime novels and cheap fiction libraries. This list concentrates on writers who worked primarily for the cheap fiction market and who achieved the greatest popularity with readers in series aimed at women.
