It's up and running: GTO Proposal

I also reworked my homepage, see if you can identify the guy in the photo.

I appreciate everyones' comments and suggestions, and special thanks to Tai! (Us midwesterners have to stick together!)

Scott:

I like the background color idea in the margin. That's a very Edward Tufte like way to use color to convey information. If they don't truly represent the shades you're looking for you could scan in an actual sample from a brochure and use the jpeg instead. It wouldn't download as fast but the difference would probably be negligible.

I'm looking forward to seeing your final result.

Scott,
What memories the GTO beings back for me. I had a great friend years ago who was nuts about these cars and spent all his time repairing and reconstructing them. Funny you should choose orange as a feature colour for you site, as his favourite GTO (he called it the goat) was blaze orange. It was a great ride and had a fabulous throat at the stop lights. I think you will be prividing a lot of people with a fun and informative site by merging history with pop culture. Nice job!
