In Foote's inventory appraisers valued Jasper at $350. Sarah, in her mid-twenties, was valued at $300. Their daughters, Susan and Eliza, ages 6 and 4, were appraised at $50 each. Exactly when the Jasper family actually left the plantation is unclear. See description under William Foote's Will.
