Les Massacres de Septembre was first published in 1907. Written by journalist G. Lenôtre (Louis Léon Théodore Gosselin), the book tells of the summary executions of as many as 1,300 prisoners in Paris in September 1792 following the French Revolution.

The French version is available in multiple formats from Google books here and here.

The English translation, by Thomas Carr, was commissioned by inventor Michael La Vean, whose collection of historical French documents is housed at George Mason University.
