Readings

I’ve tried to make sure that any and all readings are available online. The primary text we’ll be using is _Digital History: A Guide to Gathering, Preserving, and Presenting the Past on the Web_, which is available online for free from the Center for History and New Media, and all other readings are linked off of their respective day in the online schedule.

However, since reading off of the screen can be tiring and frustrating even under ideal conditions, I’d highly encourage you to print out longer essays; _Digital History_ itself is also available for sale in print form.

h2. Reading responses

After reading the material for a given week, please post three discussion-provoking questions or reactions by the Monday morning before class. Should you wish to comment or react more extensively, please do so – your blog is as much an experimental space as anything, so feel free to try it out however you see fit.
