Katherine received her B.A. in history with an emphasis in women's studies at the University of Northern Colorado. After teaching high school history in Colorado, she enrolled as a Master's student in history at George Mason University and recently joined CHNM as a research assistant. Katherine's studies in European history are specifically focused on eastern Europe and the former Yugoslavia. For this reason, she is excited to be a part of the project team for Making the History of 1989. This Colorado native is currently planning her next cross country backpacking trip in Spain.
