Where were you during the 2003 blackout in the Northeastern U.S. and Canada? (please include city and state)
Tell your story:
I was downtown with my cousins, aunt, and my family organising plans for the next day went we my cousins and I were panning to go to the Ottawa Ex( ahuge fair). All of a suden the lights in restaurant dies(they had been flikering for while) but the restaurnat had backup. I was really mad about the though of not being able to go to the Ex but it turned out they had backup generators so we went. We all departed the restaurant goign what the hell is going on and then heard how wide spread the blackout was. My mom and I went over to Quebec where they still had power and stocked up on food and we saved lots of water. Itr was realy no problem though becuase we got our power the next day and it stayed on so we went to the Ex had fun and kinda laughed about other people we knew that were still without power.
