Where were you during the 2003 blackout in the Northeastern U.S. and Canada? (please include city and state)

I remember going into the bathroom and noticed the lights had dimmed and then got bright and dimmed again, I was asking everyone in the house if they noticed it and everyone did, the lights did the same thing about a min later and then all of the power went off for 4 days. a year later I moved to Orlando, Fl. and went through hurricanne charley on the same date and lost power for 5 days.

If you remember the blackouts of 1965 and/or 1977, how did your experience compare?
don't remember - was only 7 in 1977.
