Where were you during the 2003 blackout in the Northeastern U.S. and Canada? (please include city and state)
queensvillage, NY
Tell your story:
I was at a HSBC bank when all of a sudden all the tellers were running to the door and they were shutting it down while we were still in it. I got very scared I thought 4 guys behind me holding thier checks who were construction workers were robbing the bank. The manager said we lost electricity so we have no alarm or computers. They let us out in 10 minutes. When I came outside there was chaos on the streets because the street lights were not working. I got home and waited for my dad who got stuck in the train and walked on the bridge to get home.
