DC-2005 Call for Papers now closed, Call for Exhibitors still open until 15 July 2005

2005-04-18 The Call for Papers for DC-2005 is now closed. The Program Committee will review the received papers and communicate acceptance of papers to the authors by 1 June 2005. The Call for Exhibitors is still open to 15 July 2005. For any further information about these calls, please contact dc2005@fund.uc3m.es.

2005-04-18, The DCMI Directorate is pleased to announce that two documents are now available for public comment until 18 May 2005. These are Guidelines for Encoding Bibliographic Citation Information in Dublin Core Metadata and Element Refinement in Dublin Core Metadata. Comments should be sent to the DC-General mailing list. DCMI Abstract Model published as DCMI Recommendation

2005-03-07, The DCMI Directorate is pleased to announce that after the Public Comment period that took place in February 2005, the DCMI Abstract Model is now published as a DCMI Recommendation. This foundational document is primarily aimed at the developers of software applications that support Dublin Core metadata, people involved in developing new syntax encoding guidelines for Dublin Core metadata and those people developing metadata application profiles based on the Dublin Core.
