We asked our respondents for the following information about six "occasions": "On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 means you felt no connection to the past and 10 means you felt a strong connection to the past, please tell me how connected to the past you felt on the following." The table below divides the African American Sample into four education groups, and reports the mean score each of those four groups gave the six occasions listed in the far-left column for connectedness.
