SAMPLE
We asked our respondents for the following information
about seven "places where people might get information about the past:"
"Please tell (us) how trustworthy you think each is as a source of information
about the past using a 1 to 10 scale, where 1 means not at all trustworthy
and 10 means very trustworthy." The table below divides the Mexican American
Sample into six income groups, and reports the mean score those six groups
gave each of the seven sources of information about the past listed in
the far-left column. The numbers in parentheses indicate the number of
respondents of the given income group who answered the question.
